Russian driver appears to make Nazi salute on podium; FIA launches investigation

Artem Severiukhin was in action in Portugal last weekend for the first round of the FIA Karting European Championship. Severiukhin managed to make the podium, but the way he celebrated that success was very curious, to say the least. The young driver appears to be doing a Nazi salute.
Severiukhin is originally Russian, but currently drives under an Italian license.
On Monday afternoon, the FIA went public with a statement. The international motorsport federation will immediately start an investigation into Severiukhin's 'unacceptable' behavior.
