"Probably our best Friday so far" claims Norris

McLaren was the fastest of the Mercedes powered cars today, as Lando Norris finished in eighth, and his teammate Daniel Ricciardo in P10. A great day and session for the British team as they look to continue and improve each weekend.

When speaking to Sky Sports, Norris confirmed this "It was probably our best Friday so far. I am hoping that it can kind of continue into tomorrow because we have a good feeling. I think we have made a few changes from the previous few weekends and implemented them, and they are working well."

The British driver did still state they had room for improvement especially "in the long run. I am a bit more confident in the short runs. I think a bit of it is our car limitation and a bit of that is exposing a bit more of the high fuel pace."
