Russell sends message to England players after Euro 2024 final loss

After a tripleheader in Formula One, drivers were able to rest a for a weekend. Lando Norris and George Russell decided to visit the UEFA Euro 2024 final in Berlin, a game that did not end well for the English drivers, as Gareth Southgate's side lost 2-1 to Spain in the German capital.

On his Instagram story, Norris wrote "Beautiful evening for it" at the Olympiastadion. Norris was also shown on the broadcast during the game.

George Russell also posted an image of the opening ceremony. After England lost, he also wrote in a different story on his Instagram: "Hold you heads high England. Our time will come."

The two Spaniards in F1 were not present in the stadium, but they did post stories on their Instagram accounts. Fernando Alonso posted Spain holding the cup up in the air with the Spanish flag written by him, while Carlos Sainz wrote in a story: "What a day! We are the champions of Europe!!!"

George Russell's girlfriend, Carmen Montero Mundt was also happy with a victory for her home country, Spain, she also posted on her story.
