There is only a short while to go before a new generation of Schumacher appears on the track. The son of the legendary driver will join Team Haas this year. He has been practising a lot, but despite that he cannot train at full speed.
Due to the corona outbreak, Schumacher does not have the preparation he had in mind. He has to leave the important training sessions in the simulator to his colleagues. Team Haas does not have a practice machine of its own. “There are a few tests coming up, but the simulator there is used a lot by the Ferrari racers. I sort of get the rest of the days", the German told Sky Sport Germany.

Good relationship

Schumacher also addressed the question of what it is like to work with team boss Günther Steiner. The two already know each other very well. “It's Very intensive, of course. It's important that we communicate a lot about the start of the season and that all the pieces come together.
"He is very direct. That is something that is positive. I think that the direct way is always the easiest and that we are all on the same page and up to date. That's just the best way to work," analysed the 21-year-old driver.
