Perez eliminated again in first part of qualifying

Sergio Perez may have signed a new deal with Red Bull Racing, but his poor form in qualifying continues. The Mexican is already out after the first part of qualifying in Canada, while his teammate Max Verstappen set the fastest time.

In the week he extended his contract with Red Bull Racing, Sergio Perez will have to start the Canadian Grand Prix from sixteenth. For the second weekend in a row, the Mexican was unable to get through Q1 with his Red Bull. In the changeable conditions it was a matter of being on track at the right time, but Perez cannot use that excuse. His teammate was on the track at the same time, and he rode to the first time.
