Cadillac driver Valtteri Bottas brought the morning session to a halt after he stopped on track during his run.
The veteran Finnish driver, who returned to the wheel of the Cadillac, stopped on track towards the end of the second sector during his run.
Bottas has since exited his car, with the session brought to a temporary stop. It is worth noting that teammate Sergio Perez also brought out the red flag during his run at the circuit yesterday.

At the time of the stoppage, Bottas had completed only eight laps and was placed eighth on the timing tower. George Russell, however, continues to lead the session with a lap time of 1:34.075, ahead of Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen.
