Max Verstappen is not the only driver missing from the starting grid for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, as Esteban Ocon will also start the race from the pit lane.
Haas has decided to fit a new engine in the Frenchman's car, which will be the fifth Ferrari power unit of the season for Ocon.
In any case, making changes to a car under Parc Fermé regulations is not allowed, so a pit lane start penalty was inevitable.

Ocon behind Verstappen in Brazil

Ocon will be positioned behind Verstappen in the pit lane after the Frenchman qualified seventeenth, one spot behind the Dutchman, meaning Verstappen will not start the race last.
Verstappen has also received a new engine. Additionally, several setup changes have been made to his Red Bull Racing RB21.
