BBC Sport has revealed that McLaren has let go its Chief Technical Officer Tim Goss just three races into the season, even though the team itself hasn't communicated this to the public yet.
McLaren is not happy with the results the team's been getting in the early stages of the season, causing Goss, who's been working for McLaren since 1990, to be removed from his position. Whether he's completely fired from the company hasn't been confirmed, but that seems unlikely.
A McLaren spokesperson declined to confirm or deny the news, but he did tell BBC Sport that McLaren is "undergoing a review of its technical operations as part of its programme to return the team to success".
"This is a proactive, ongoing process that addresses a broad range of factors across the organisation.
"More details will be given in due course until that time there will be no further comment."
