BREAKING: Ferrari has to look for a new CEO after Camilleri resigns

Ferrari brought out surprising news on Thursday evening. CEO, Louis Camilleri will leave the Italian race stable immediately. Camilleri was the CEO of Ferrari since 2018 and is stopping for personal reasons.
It is yet another change at the top of Ferrari, which has already seen several CEOs, chairmen and team bosses pass by in the past year. Camilleri, as Sergio Marchionne's successor, was not long in Ferrari's reign either, but after two years he has already left the Italians.

However, Louis is not stopping because he has been dismissed, but for personal reasons.
"Ferrari has been an important part of my life and it was a great honour for me to take on the role of CEO. I am proud of the performance of the team since 2018 and know that the best years of Ferrari are yet to come,'' Louis said in the statement.

According to Ferrari, Camilleri has also been struggling with the coronavirus in recent weeks. The CEO was hospitalised but was not in a life-threatening situation. However, that whole situation may have caused him to resign now. The CEO, John Elkann, will take over from Camilleri until a suitable successor is found.
