Max Verstappen admits that his actions during the Spanish Grand Prix were 'not ideal' and stresses that he is hoping for a more positive weekend in Canada.
The incident between Verstappen and George Russell in Spain has stirred up quite a bit of controversy. In Canada, it's still the talk of the town. When asked by Viaplay how he looks back on the moment now, he says: "I think it was quite clear."
"Of course, I briefly mentioned it on Monday," he adds, referring to his Instagram post. "Yes, looking back at that move - it wasn't ideal, and you learn from it. Then you move on and hopefully, we will have a more positive outcome this weekend."

Asked whether he felt the Instagram reaction was necessary, the four-time champion says: "If you just immediately state your opinion, then it's clear. You can move on, and after that, I didn't look back."
Russell had already revealed he encountered Verstappen at the airport. Asked if the two had discussed the incident, the Dutchman said: "No, but that's not necessary. These things happen. You learn from them and move on."
