Max Verstappen has given his reaction to Red Bull getting fined after a team member re-entered the track during the formation lap procedure and tried to remove tape next to Lando Norris' grid box at the United States Grand Prix.
"I think that it's quite understandable that you get fined for that."

The Red Bull team were fined 50,000 euros for overstepping safety procedures ahead of the United States Grand Prix.
Verstappen explained to the media ahead of the Mexico City Grand Prix that Red Bull being penalised for this incident is easy to understand.
The four-time world champion said: "There's a yellow line in the grid box, you look at that one, so you just park your car.

"It doesn't matter where you start, really. But some people have other practices, and I get that. In Austin, it took a bit longer for whatever reason for the gate to close.
"If it was instructed or not in the right way to stay out of it. I think it's quite clear how the stewards explained it.
"So I think that it's quite understandable that you get fined for that."
The incident didn't seem to affect Red Bull or Verstappen last time out at the United States Grand Prix.
The Dutchman led from pole position and took a comfortable victory to close the gap to championship leader Oscar Piastri to just 40 points.

Norris was amused by the incident in Austin

Norris eventually finished in second place after a battling drive to the podium, fighting his way past Ferrari's Charles Leclerc.
This result enabled the McLaren driver to gain ground in the title battle compared to his teammate Piastri.
Norris is now just 14 points behind the Australian with five Grands Prix to go as the campaign draws to a close.
