Honda Racing has unveiled its engine for the 2026 Formula 1 season.
It’s not only Formula 1 teams hosting launch events ahead of the 2026 campaign, when a great regulation overhaul is taking place.
Power unit manufacturer Honda also had a launch event in Tokyo, where the Japanese brand revealed the RA626H. Aston Martin owner Lawrence Stroll, Chief Strategy Officer and engine guru Andy Cowell, and F1 CEO and President Stefano Domenicali were all present as well.

After Honda's partnership with Red Bull Racing ended in 2025, the Japanese manufacturer will power a single team, Aston Martin, in 2026.
The Silverstone-based team's car, designed by Adrian Newey, will be launched on February 9, after the conclusion of the first pre-season test days in Barcelona. The car itself was already fired up ahead of the next season on 31 December.

According to former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher, the Spaniard still has what it takes to win a championship.
"Fernando seems relaxed, even when he gets out of the race car. Experience helps too, and Fernando has plenty of it. He’s super motivated."
The former Williams and Toyota driver added with a smile: "And you can’t tell that he’s 44 years old—he doesn’t even have gray hair. I’d be happy for him."
