With George Russell’s brilliant victory over Max Verstappen and the late-race drama between the two McLarens, here’s how the Drivers' Championship standings have changed after the Canadian Grand Prix:
A rather uneventful race for the most part suddenly came to life in the final stages with the dramatic collision between the two McLarens, which led to Lando Norris’ retirement.
George Russell managed to convert his Saturday pole into a brilliant race win, delivering a masterful performance. Max Verstappen finished second and can be reasonably satisfied with the result, while Kimi Antonelli celebrated his first career podium.
