Helmut Marko: "We are going to win at least five races and the title" in 2020

At the start of the 2019 season, Red Bull Racing's Helmut Marko made a bold prediction. He claimed that Red Bull would win five races, which they failed to do. Marko has made an equally bold claim ahead of the 2020 season. Win five races and the title. We'll have to see how they get on.

"The fact that we only won three races cost me money in different races," Marko said to Servus TV, laughing about the prediction he made.

Marko believes that his team "had the potential to win five, maybe even six races," in the 2019 season but was overall happy with how the team performed in their first year working with Honda.

Ahead of the 2020 season, Marko has made another bold prediction and has gone even bigger than his 2019 one!

"We are going to win at least five races and the title," Marko said.

It will be interesting to see if Red Bull can be genuine contenders for the championship in 2020. The team will be desperate to perform and will need to be competitive if they are to keep hold of Max Verstappen for the future.
