Kelly's Penelope the star of social media: This is what dad Kvyat thinks!

Hardly a day goes by without Penelope (4) appearing somewhere on social media. Often they are loving photos with her mum Kelly Piquet and/or with stepdad Max Verstappen, the Brazilian beauty's partner. Also always amusing are the videos in which little Penelope sneaks into the room, when Max is sim racing.

Last Sunday, for instance, the three-time Formula 1 world champion was racing with his friends online and during the stream on Twitch, one could watch Penelope steal the show. Meanwhile, it can be said that the little lady is starting to gain star status on social media. However, who cannot be seen with Penelope is her biological father.

Penelope is the daughter of Daniil Kvyat, now a former Formula 1 driver (of Red Bull Racing, among others) and currently active in the World Endurance Championship. The Russian is not at all bothered by the fact that Penelope can be seen so often on social media, speaking to GPblog.

"No, no," Kvyat responds when asked if Penelope is not too much in the spotlight? Then he says: "I also spend a lot of time. I just don't post things on social media. It's my choice. And, me and Kelly, we are not together for a long time, since 2019. This is a decision we took a long time [ago]. And since then, everyone is free with their life, with the partners that we choose and so on."

Finally, Kvyat says: "You know, I have my relationship with her, [for] Kelly it's her relationship [with Penelope]."
